The marriage will take place on May 16, in Exeter Pentecostal Church of 4:00 o'clock. Open reception to follow. Hurondale Institute pick new officers Hurondale Women's Institute members were honoured to have the President of South Huron District Mrs. Carl Payne at their annual meeting, April 22. The meeting began with a supper catered to by the ladies group of Trivitt Memorial church. Helen Webber on behalf of the members thanked the Mark event at Crediton By MRS. PETER MARTIN CREDITON A family gathering was held at the home of Ida Smith Wednesday at 5 p.m. The occassion was her 89th birthday. She received many lovely cards, flowers an gifts. Those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Clare Sparling and Buelah, Walkerton. Levina Finkbeiner from Queen Nur- sing Home, Hensall. A dinner was served and a lovely birthday cake centered the table. The evening was spent In reminiscing old days. She thanked everyone for gifts and being presents. Roll call was answered by the paying of fees, 4-H Achievement day is to be Aprll 28 at Exeter Public School. The district annual is to be in Seaforth, Thursday May 21. As this is the year of the disabled, the theme is to be "Isn't it great to be living." Marian Dougall gave the report of the district board meeting in Hensall April 7. Exchange of Secret pal gifts was held, and names drawn for another year. Helen Hodgert was named election chairman and reports of standing com- mittees were given.
