THE CHALLENGE TROPHY — Stuart Steckle, president of the Huron County Holstein Club,
accepts the Western Ontario Challenge trophy from past -president, Bob McNiel. This is the
first year for the trophy which is presented to the most active club in the 10 western Ontario
counties.

attended the meeting of the
Dashwood and Area Medical
Committee held in the com-
munity centre to answer
enquiries regarding the
possibility of adding an addi-
tion to the Medical building
suitable for a public library.
This addition would re-
quire a separate entrance
and in no way interfere with
the usual routine of a resi-
dent doctor.
The canvass of the area is
nearing completion: anyone
who has been missed and
would liketo donate to this
project can call 237-3352.237-
3597 or 237-3606 and
arrangements will be made
to pick up the donation and
an official receipt issued.
All donations Targe or
small are greatly ap-
preciated.

The South of Zion
Lutheran church met March
22 with pre-confirmands as
guests Elise Vandewerp dis-
cussed the retreat in Wind-
sor April 3-5. Easter Sunrise
Service and breakfast were
the main corning events.
