Hockey tests over speaking
Sunda) . March 22 is public
speaking day for the club. At
a breakfast meeting, begin-
ning at 10 a m . the club is
sponsoring our annual
oratorical contest. The
parents and children com-
peting are invited to attend.
Winners will be sponsored
by the club at the Zone finals
in Clinton in April.
Our first Tri-Star hockey
competition was held Sun-
day at the township arena.
The following were the
winners in their age groups:
8 to 9 years: Pete Conlin,
Steve Dubarry and Billy
McGrath. 10 to 11 years:
Jerry Lamport. Steve Wat-
son. and Johnny Miller. 12
-and 13 years: Lester Arts,
Mike Arts:Eugene Glanville.
The event was an excellent
effort by both the organizers
and the competitors. They
only problem was the
number of entrants. I'm sure
that there could have been
more than 38 kids with
skates at home. Next time
we want to see many more
in attendance. It costs exact-
ly nothing to participate.
Mentioning numbers.

Get out and sell thein
fellows. The sooner that they
are gone the better chance
we will have of getting on

have trouble selling them all
you have to do is buy them
yourself.
