Plan Dashwood lent event
By MRS. IRVIN RADER
DASHWOOD
Calvary United Church
will be holding Wednesday
evening services during lent.
An interesting feature of the
March 18 program will be a
film "He Restores my Soul".
The story is about a gospel
singer who was terribly
disfigured in an airplane
crash and his adjustment to
continue work, through the
support of family and
friends.
The ladies of the church
will continue to attend the
"Learning for Lent" series
in Zurich each Wednesday
morning. Mrs. Don Gaiser
would appreciate acall from
anyone wanting tran-
sportation.
Ladies' aid
The March meeting of Zion
Lutheran Ladies' Aid was
held March 10 with group 2
and conveners, Mr. Ray
Rader and Mrs. Earl Keller
in charge of devotions and
lunch. There were 23
members present and one
guest.
Pastor M. Mellecke
continued the topic on the
construction of the church,
