50°0 Payment Bond are required.
A deposit of 5 100 money order or certified cheque
made payable to the Treasurer of Ontario is re-
quired for each set of tender documents. The
tenderer s address and telephone number should be
noted With -the deposit poyrnent. This deposit will be
refunded if documents are returned in good condi-
hon within thirty days of the dosing date, otherwise
the deposit will be forfeited.
Sealed tenders will be received until 3:00 p.m.,
Thursday. April 9, 1981, at which time they will be
opened in public. Tenders will be opened in Toronto.

Mortgage Sale
By Tender
Of
Land and buildings located in Stanley
Township in the county of Huron and
Province of Ontario and known as part
of lot number three (3), concession six
(6), comprising approximately three
and one-half (3.5) acres and more par-
ticularly described in instrument
number 161371 registered in the land
registry office for the registry division of
the county of Huron.
TAKE NOTICE that the Royal Bank of
Canada, Exeter, Ontario, will be offering
the above mentioned lands and premises
for sale, pursuant to Power of Sale
provisions contained in a mortgage held by
the Bank, by sealed tender delivered to the
Bank's Solicitors as hereinafter stated on or
before 5:00 p.m. on the 3rd day of April,
1981.
The conditions of the tender are as follows:
1 Purchaser shall at the time of submitting a tender
accompany the tender by a certified cheque made
payable to Messrs. Raymond, Mclean & Gray (in
trust) for ten percent 110%) of the amount
tendered which sum will be returned if the tender
is not accepted, or, which sum will be forfeited as
liquidated damages if the tender is accepted and
the same is not completed by the Purchaser. The
balance of the purchase price is payable by cash
or certified cheque on the closing date (14 days
from the date of acceptance of the tender) and
upon payment of the balance of the purchase
price the Purchaser shall be entitled to o con-
veyonce and let into possession of the said lands
and premises. The tender shall be accepted by a
letter from The Royal Bank of Canada, Exeter
Branch, or its Solicitors mailed by ordinary mail to
an address provided for this purpose in the
tender
2. The property as described above will be offered
for sale subject to a reserve bid.
3. The accepted tender need not be the highest bid
nor need any tender he accepted at all, however,
in the case of a dispute between bidders the
property shall be immediately put up for sale
again
4. Any person, corporation, partnership or associa-
tion with the exception of the vendor or its agents
shall be at liberty to tender.
5. Date of acceptance of the tender shall be the date
upon which The Royal Bank of Canada or its
Solicitors mals its letter of acceptance as stated
above.
The property offered for sale will be made
available for ,n;pection by appointment only to
be arranged by calling The Royal Bank of
Canada, Exeter. Ontario Branch (519) 235-21 1 1.
The conditions of the sale are as follows:
1. The balance due on closing shall be by cash or
certified chegur- made oayable to the Solicitors
for The Royal Bank of Canada, Exeter, Ontario.
2. The Purchaser ;hall search the title at his own ex•
pense and the Vendor shall not be bound to
produce any abstract of title or deeds or evidence
of title other than .n its possession or control.
3. The Purchaser may make any objections to title in
writing to tho Vendor'; Solicitor within seven (7)
days after the dote of acceptance of the tender
-and in default of making any such objections the
Purchoser shoes he deemed to hove accepted title.
If the Purchoser fads to comply with the conditions
aforesaid. or any of them, the deposit and all
other payments made thereon shall be forfeited
os liquidated damages and the premises may be
reoffered for sole by the Vendor, deficiency if any
on such resole together with all charges attending
the same or occasioned by the defaulter shall
be made good by the defaulter.

Usborne supports bid
Want more free calls
Usborne township council
will be supporting a resolu-
tion of a number of
ratepayers asking for an ex-
tension of toll free telephone
service from Bell of Canada.
The petition presented by
Sam Skinner and Howard
Pym asked for free long dis-
tance calls between Cen-
tralia and Kirkton ex-
changes and between
Kirkton and Lucan.
A petition from Dirk
Hoonard for new drainage
works on concession 2-3 was
accepted and A.J. DeVs of
Spriet Associates was nam-
ed engineer.
The drainage com-
missioner indicated
reported the Verbeke, Cor-
nish, Morely and Washburn
municipal drains were ready
for council's consideration.
The 1981 road program
will include rebuilding of
Concession road 2-3 from
County road 6 to Huron
street.
Building inspector Her-
man Van Wieren reported
issuing no building permits
during the month of
February.
During the regular March
meeting. council ex=
amined the list of properties
liable for tax sale in 1981 and
were advised that the
amount of 1980 taxes in
arrears has been reduced to
$16.692.06 or 2.41 percent of
the total tax roll for 1st year.
Council supported a
resolution from the region of
Hamilton -Wentworth which
calls for stiffer penalties for
criminals using firearms.
Arrangements will be
made to complete a survey
of the Webber farm with a
view to selling the farm land
not connected with the
Stephen reviews
'81 road budget
At the latest meeting of
Stephen township council
road superintendent Eric
Finkbeiner reviewed the
1981 road budget.
It will total $416,000 in-
cluding a supplementary of
$210.000 to allow completion
of the Devil's Elbow bridge
which is now under construc-
tion.
Rental for the township
grader for ratepayers was
increased to $35 per hour and
the backhoe rates were rais-
ed to $23 per hour.
The annual road tour by
township officials has ten-
tatively been set for April 13.
The Ministry of Transpor-
tation and Communication
has approved the purchase
of a Mack truck with
snowplow attachment from
Carrier Mack Trucks for
'$80,577.93. Subsidy will only
be available.on $71,830.60 the
amount of the lowest tender
received.
Maximum road subsidies
of $1,000 were approved for
the police villages of Cen-
tralia. Crediton and
Dashwood.
Final readings were given
to the bylaws covering the
Brand. Kuhn. Lamport,
Pickering and Adams
municipal drains.
The report on the Mud
Creek municipal drain will
be read on March 25 at 1:30
p.m. at the Stephen Com-
munity Centre' in Crediton.
A site plan control bylaw
pertaining to part of Lot 24,
