Hensall loses two more
Zurich wins over Sherwoods
Two unanswered third
period goals allowed the
Zurich Buckeyes to score a 6-
5 win over the Hensall
Sherwoods in South Huron
hockey league play Sunday
afternoon in Zurich.
The first period was all
even with each team
scoring one goal. The

in the final frame:
The game was only 15
seconds old when Steve
Knight struck for the
Sherwoods on a three-way
combination with Jamie
Caldwell and Gary Koehler.
Only a minute later the
score was all tied on a
successful shot by Captain
John Graham of the
Buckeyes with assists going
to Steve Bedour and Kerry
Bedard.
At 2:06 of the second
session, Rick Ingram put
Hensall in front again on a
play started by Ken Varley
and Dwight Consitt.
Pat Bedard squared the
score again for the Buckeyes
at 11:51 as he hit the Hensall
net on passes from John
Graham and Kim McKinnon.
Bedard's goal set off a fast
scoring spree of six goals in
the last nine minutes of play.
Next came a drive by Dave
Kinsman of the Sherwoods at
13:05 with the pass provided
by Al Taylor.
A minute later Pat Bedard
registered his second goal of
the game on a pass from
Mike Clarke and the score
was even at 3-3.
The scoring pattern
changed a little with two
quick Hensall goals. Rick
Ingram fired his second shot
of the afternoon past Kevin
Lightfoot who was in Zurich
'goal filling in because of
injuries. Dave Kinsman and
Gary Davies assisted.
Dave Kinsman put the
Sherwoods two goals up at
17:51 as he converted a pass
from Ken Varley.
With only 10 seconds
remaining in the second
period, Gerald Weido
completed a three-way
passing effort with Mike
