Despite the stormy
weather the Centralia
Community Centre was the
scene of a joyous occasion on
Sunday afternoon when the
family of Mildred and
Lawrence Hirtzel held Open
House in honour of their
parents 45th Wedding
Anniversary.
The couple was united in
marriage 45 years ago by the
late Rev. Arthur Page. They
have four children, Donald,
Parkhill, Bill, Exeter,
Margaret (Mrs. Karl Keller)
London, Bev, Lhcan and
twelve grandchildren.
Centralia Faith Taber-
nacle congregation held
their annual New Year Eve
Service. The members of the
church were served a
delicious meal.
After supper Bob Heywood
ministered in song and
Pastor Bob Degraw led the
song service.
Some of the members gave
talks on what God had done
in the past year and what
they had prayed for in the
future. We all look forward
to 1981.
