Mrs. Armstrong, althau;h well advanced in years has enjoyed fairly .good health. and only for a short tune ens confined to her bed. She was born near Entrin- killen, Tyrone, Ireland in 181.2 and in 1838 nail married to the late Gee. Armstrong. A year after their mat - riage (hey came to America and set • lits in the County of Prince Edward. After remaining in i'rince Ede ard for n few )•ears they ;nosed into a farm north of St. Thomas. In 1850 they Nettled on a farm in Osborne, and after teenty•five .years of active life. they canoe to Exeter to enjoy a swell -earned rest. Six years later Mr. Armstrong d:ed ant since that time Mrs. Armstrong has resided with her son Irvine. Mrs. Armstrong wn9 a kind and :arcs,- ' donate mother and %was bels in t.h' a highest esteem 1 v all %%%Ito knew her. It appears that ford had been negotiating with 3Lr. C. E. Hackney for a horse and ,had asked the latter if he .would. take Iwo steers as part payment. After waiting a few days and Ford not putting in an appearance, Mr. Hackney went in search of his anie teal and located it where Ford Lad been stopping.
