A most enjoyable evening was
spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Michael Finkbeiner, of Shipka last
Wednesday Sept. 11th the occasion
being the marriage of their eldest
daughter Bertha to Mr. Thos. In;a,
of London. About four o'clock the
wedding party descended the stairs
to the strains of Mendclssohn'e wed -
dine march played byeeliee Martha
Geizcr. They forincxt on the lawn
under an arch of cver,recne beauti-
fully decorated with flowers. Many
pleasant remarks were beard from
the eighty guests assembled as the
beautiful bride leaning on the arm
of her father took her place, but
all was eager attention while Rev.
J. F. Sutcliffe performed the mar-
riage ceremony. The bride was tast-
ily and becomingly r;owned in a
suit of cream cloth trimmed with
satin and lace. She wore n wreath
of oranee blossoms and carried •a
bouquet of white asters. Miss Lsah
Finkbciner, cousin of the bride robed
in white muslin trimrned with in-
s'•rtion and lace made n very pretty
b idesmaid. Mr. Chas. Ines brother

while the bride's two little sisters
