OBITUARY -Mrs. Charlotte Beaver, nee Johns, was born in Alsace Jan. 19 1815nd passed away on the morning Aug.A of 4tb, 1907, at the house of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. About 1837 the subject of this sketch was married to Nicholas Beaver and settled in the pine forests of Wellington county. Yr i r to her removal to Ontario she bad been converted to God and when located in her new home she hoped ar d prayed and wept that some mis- sionary of the Rvangelica Association tonight come Ind preach the gospel. 01 eat was her joy when a few years later her own father penetrated the forest fastness and found his lost child That very evening Charlotte Beaver with babe in arms went from cabin to cabin n And announced c e i a service in her home Many attended and this prov- ed the beginning of a regular presch- ing appointment and eventually a strong society.
