all. Dr. Carr acted as toast mas-
ter, and after complimenting the

them continued happiness and pros-
perity. ho called upon Mr. and Mrs.
Brock to •respond to the toast to
their health. This they did in ex-
cellent manner. Several of those
present were called upon for speech-

recipients of many costly presents.
The township council sent two beau-
tifully upholstered chairs, and a
silver service was the !elft.- of a
nutnber of admiring friends from
the 8th concession. After supper
the evenin; ►vas pleasantly spent.

that Mr. and Mrs. Brock were com-
pelled to .;o through the "ordeal"
of bcinz married again, Mr. Bush
Kirk performing the .eerrnony. Tho
