Embezzled for Yearn.
A Hamilton despatch says: The
announcement on 'Thursday after-

rued at the instance of the Bank
of lianlilton officials for the arrest
of Ilillhouee Brown, a well-known
society and club ratan, and manager

the Bank of Hamilton, created the
biggest kind of a sensation. Brown
is a brother-in-law of Hon. J. S.

ex -ALP., and Postmaster here. 'T-ito
amount alleged to bo invoked is
very largo.
The directors of the bank have
made the following official an-

'"l'he Bank of Hamilton is sorry
to say that systematic defaleatfuns
have been made at its Fast End
branch by Mr. T. Hillhouse ,Brown,
