Cann of Usborne, had the misfortune to fall a distance of seven fent, fractur- his Lack bone so seriously that par- alysis of the body and les resulted Mr. Cann was assisting in stowing grain in the mow and while wailing for a load to cone front the -field, sat down to rest. As near :LA - can .ae learned he fell oackwards, striking on his head and neck dislocating the spino and rendering him semi -uncon- scious from which he has not yet recovered. This is the second serious accident! which has oefailen thefam- ily in one year. Last fall, while his son, Thomas, was picking apples, he fell from a tree, fracturing; the spine causing paralysis, from which he has not recovered.
