THE SPIRIT OF WINTER
The 8virit of Winter is with us,
Imaking its presence known in many
different ways—sometimes by cheery
Sunshine and elistening snows, ;end
sOmetimcs by blinding allude and
blinding storms. To many people it
seems to take n delight in making
bad things worse. for rheumatism
twists herder, twinges sharper, c•t-
tarrh becomes more annoying, and
the many symptoms of scrofula are
developed and aggravated. There
is not much poetry in this but there
is truth, and it is n wonder that
more people don't get rid of tli..se
ailments. The medicine that cures
'them—Hood's Sarsaparilla—is easily
obtained and there is abundant petrol
that its cures are radical and per-
manent.

HI3ALTIIY HORSES

i
The horse has but one stomach, and has but one chance at hie food,
so it is absolutely necessary to catract the largest amount of good from
the food in its rapid passage through the stomach. :1s a rule, horses are
either overworked or underworked, and it suffers much front impaired
digestion. This is (Mowed by atiegoation of the blood and a whole host
of diseases. No trouble should be too great, to set and keep him in
good shape for his every day work. Ciyde_sdale Stock Fooe1, with his
Ordinary feed, regulates hie whole system by tiding the digestion,
regulating the bowels, stimulating and correcting the action of the liver,
loosening the hide, giving sleekness to the coat, end your horse will do
more work and on lest feed. It can be stopped atan time
results. Mr. I). B. Mcbachern, Harriston, Ont., says : " I have used your
Clydesdale Stock Forel fur the last six months in my stable, and I find
it is the best tonic 1 hate ever used, and it is the only tonic that when
using, I can stop at any time without bad results, and my horses will not
lose in flesh like they will with other Stock Footle. No better remedies
on the market than Clydesdale Heave Cure, Colic Cure, Worm Powder,
Gall Cure, Embrocation Liniment and Tar Foot Remedy ; they should 1,e
kept handy, Von never can tell when they may be ueetled. If the
above preparations are not found satisfactory your money will he re•
fundal cheerfully by our dealers in your district, namely :
