Dear Mrs. Pinkham:-

but finding that I did not get any better he
examined me and, to my surprise, declared
I had a tumor in the uterus.
"I felt sure that it meant my death warrant,
and was very disheartened. I spent hundreds
of dollars in doctoring, but the tumor kept
growing, till the doctor said that nothing but
an operation would save me. Fortunately I
corresponded with my aunt in the New Eng
and States, who advised me to try Lydia E.
Pinkham's Vegetable Compound before sub-
mitting to an operation, and I at once started
taking a regular treatment, finding to my
great relief that my general health began to
tinprove, and after three months I noticed
that the tumor had reduced in sire. I kept
on taking the Compound, and in ten mon
it had entirely disappeared without an oper-
ation, and using no medicine but Lydia E.
Pinkham', Vegetable Compound, and words
fail to expresssghow grateful I am for the good
it has done me." -)fins Luella Adams, Colon-

Such unquestionable testimony
proves the value of Lydia E. Pinkham's
Vegetable Compound, and should give
confidence and hope to every sick
woman.

women to write to her at Lynn, Mass.,

Clinton. Sept. 15. -The conviction of
P. 11. Lewis for having more than one
barroom on July 12 has been quashed
on appeal. The regulations of lic-
ence conunisssoneT of West Huron in-
clude one to the (effect that "the lair
should lint consist of more than one
room." Lewis, to accolnniodate the
large number of customers on the holi-
lsv, erected a temporary counter in the
hallway adjoining the bar. The police
magistrate held this to be a breach of
the regulation, bat Judge Holt. in
thrashing the conviction, holds that
the regulation is ultra vires because
to have two bar -rooms without two
hors is inconceivable, and the stattlte
nlre:uly provides aRainat two bars. The
judge further holder with the decisions
previously given that the erection of it
temporary structure in the hall did
not make the hall a barroom and that
there was no violation of either the
regulation or the act.

Why Red Rose Tea
is Economical
RED Rose Tea has all the good points of two
good teas and none of the weaknesses of any.
You never drank a cup of straight Ceylon or Indian
tea that could compare in strength, richness, delicacy
and fragrance with the "rich fruity flavor" of Reil
Rose Tea.
Yet Red Rose Tea goes further and costs no
more than either Indian or Ceylon teas alone.
Red Rose Tea is better than either Indian or
Ceylon tea and is more economical because it goes
further.

"Stomach
Catarrh"
It is a fatal waste of time to trifle with snuffs, powders,
inhalers, or other dangerous nostrums, with the idea of curing
Catarrh of the Stomach. Once Catarrh has reached the
stomach it can only be eradicated by creatingpure,
rich blood. Catarrh is a germ disease. The stomach and
intestines become nests for myriads of these !i_ny germs. Local
applications have no effect on them. They must be driven out
-the stomach cleansed, the blood purified, the system toned
up. "PSYcHINE" will positively cure the worst form of
Stomach Catarrh, by purifying the blood, cleansing the
stomach, and destroying germ life. Thousands have been
cured of the prevalent malady, through this remarkable dis-
covery, rr PsvcIiIsE." Druggists recommend it.
