WEDDIN(t.---A pretty wedding took
place on Wedne•»day whereby two of
Crediton Eat -t'- most popular young
people wear nuule happy for life. We
refer to 31t. Milton Bissett, second son
of Mr. Albert Bissett, and Miss Lilly
May lledden, only daughter of Mr.
Wort lit•dden. 'the couple drove to
the 1l etin, dist parsonage, where the
militia, knot was securely tied by the
Rev. Mr. Henderson, the event taking
place at three o'clock. The bride, who
was attired in at fawn travelling suit.
look very bewitching indeed. Her
cousin, Miss hose Dearing made a very
pretty bridesmaid, while the groom
was ably supported by his brother,
Barnet. Immediately after the cere-
mony the bridal party drove to the
residence of the bride's parents, where
the bride and groom received wares
congratulations from their friends.
The coin pany,nunibering about thirty,
then repaired to the dining roost
where they enjoyed a dainty tea. An
inspection of the wedding gifts was
the next thing in order. and we may
here state that no bride ever received
more costly or useful gifts than did the
present tete, which bespeaks •it pop-
ularity of Mrs. Bissett. The remain-
der
emainder of the evening was pleasantly
spent in music, games and social chat.
Mr. and Mrs. Bissett have settled
down to the sterner realities of life os
the groom's farm south of the villi(ge.
and If good wishes carry any weight
the happy couple will enjoy a life of
uninterrupted bliss. Your scribe alse
extends congratulations.
