The majority given was beyondthe expectation of the most sanguine. it being thought by many that the measure would carry by a slight majority, while others predict- ed a defeat. The expenditure is expected to cover the cost of the old mill dam properly, the reconstruction of the dant. the laying of the water mains and the erection of a water tower or stand pipe. etc. The vote 4n the several sub -divi- sions was as follows: Sub -Division 1 31 15 Sub -Division 2 42 6 Sob-Divisoin 3 51 18 Sub -Division •1 58 32 185 71 The entire plant of the Tudhope Carriage Company.
