The EGun un Club. which is considered olio of the most, flourish-
ing organizations of the kind' in Ontario. is making extra efforts, to 1
make the annual tournament to be held on Good Friday, one of the le -t
events ever held in the Dominion.

the weekly shoots were discontinued and to create interest in the sport
The Exeter Times has donated a handsome silver tea service of five
pieces to the club to he competed for, for five weeks, a tweets( bird ev-
ent each week, the first Fhoot to flake place ole Thursday February.' 27th,
and continuing each Thursday until the 100 birds have been shot at.
As the winner will be decided oe the percentage handicap, it wilt Ix,
necessary for all competitors to sheet each week.
The Trophy is engraved "Exeter Tinter Trophy. Donated for Competi-

It was at first decided to donate the trophy to be coulested for on
Good Friday, but as we wish it to r 0818111 in the possession of one of the
)members of the Gut Club, the above was thought the better way, :end
only members of the club will be entitled to take part. '

first shoot for the 1 rophyt takes pia ce, Is eligible to enter the competi-

The 'trophy is now on exhibitio n in the window of Mr. Saxon Fitton,
jeweller, but on Friday where{ the, the shoot for the supper takes place
at the Club Grounds, the trophy will be at the C1u11 Ifouse.
The Times is now going over t he scores of the Gun Club, and on
Thursday the 27th., one of, our mem berg will be at the grounds and' an-
nounce the different' handicaps..
The Trophy is a beautiful one and it is expected the winner twill
have to do some extra fine shooting to capture it. Once won rt le_
comes the Itroperty of the succesaf ul shooter.
Report of the Accident to the Lambrook Family
The remains of the late Mrs. Jo- head striking against a telephone

was rendered wholly unconscious and
the sons were so badly) dazed for a
few moments that they could not
rise. They soon recovered, however
and heroically assisted in caring for
their loved ones. Wilbert Lam -
brook was the least injured of ail.
Tho injured ones were taken to
homes in the neighborhood of the
accident. The city ambulances were
then called and removed the two in-
jured women to the hospital, the sons

injured man arrived at the hospital

scious form on the operating table he
again lapsed into unconsciousness. Ile
did not rally until a late hour.

learned of the accident they turnrd
back and later summoned the, police.
