pleasant and enjoyable evening was
spent at the home of Mrs. John Dew)
1turondale, whe.'t a nunlbar ot the neigh-
bors and Intimate friends gathered to-
reether at her hone on the eve of the
departing of Mr. and Mra. Philip Ryck-
ritan. The evening was spent In social
:;antes, singing and music. A few
choice selections were played on the vio-
lin by Messrs. D. 13. Sanders and Mr.
J. Bell. Mr. and Mrs. Ryckntan, being
the guests of honor, were presented with
a beautiful present, the presentation be-
itii-, made by ;salsa Maud Horton and
Miss Jessie Ferguson, while Mr. Chas.
Keddy read an able address, expressive
of the sincere regrets of those pres-
ent and the neighborhood oa losing trout
their midst such worthy and jovial
friends as Mr. and Airs. Ryckntan. Mr.
and Mrs. Ryckman leave for Saskatch-
ewan, where they intend to make
their future hone.

the relict of the lat. Duncan Steverson,
who lived in McGillivray for some years,
west of Allan Craig, on the town line.
The deceased and Iter husband lived for
several years In Parkhill, after whlcp
.they moved to Stephen on the Crediton
road, In 1905 the deceased moved to
Parkt:Ill, where she resided for two
years. Since 1907 she has lived with
her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Hickey, near
1larpley. The funeral took place on
Friday for Nalr;t cenetcry. The sym-
pathy is extended to nor daughter in
her bereavement.
