Cures are Iniposalte
A:ter years of debate medic•tl auth-
orltles are now agreed that Eczema and
other skin diseases are not seated In
the blood, but are caused by germs in
the skin. Myriads of microscopic ani-
mals gnaw the flesh Just below the
epidermis. The patient is perfectly
healthy. it is only the akin that is dis-
oased. Dunce scientists are now agreed
that you must cure the akin through
the skin.
The medicine must be In liquid form
in order to penetrate properly, as salves
and ointments clog the pores without
reaching the Inner skin.
The remedy that will search out and
destroy the disease germs, stop the itch

A surprise party of about sixty rel-
atives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ches-
ter Stanlake visited their hone on Tlture
day last to spend an evening prior,. to
their departure for Alberta, where
they will reside. Tile home was innnMi-
iately thrown open to the party and a
most pleasant time was spent socially.
During the evening the host and hostess
were presented with a silver cabinet
ant a pair o: cuff links, and an address
which was read by Mina Mary Parsons,
teacher, while the presentation was
nude by Mr. Joan Carrick. The ad-
dress is as follows. -
To Mr. and Mr a. Chester Stanlake and
family. -Having learned that you in-
tend to 80311 depart from our midst, we,
your friends and relatives, thought it
would be quite befitting to gather at
your home and spend an hour or two:
at the same time expreaa our deepest
regret at your removal, and ask you
to accept this silver cabinet and these
cuff Jinks as a slight token of our
p.ffcctien and respect for you. What
we present to you le a very poor sym-
bol of our deep feeling, but we know
you will accept them kindly. \\-e trust
you will prize the Otto not for their
intrinsic value but for their asaociatton.
Wo feel that in losing you from our
midst we are losing true and noble
friends whose departure will be keen-
ly felt by each and every one present
May our gifts ever remind you of. the
high estimation in which the donors
hold your character, and we trust you
will live many years to enjoy them.
