THE MOLSONS DANK
The fifty-fourth annual tweeting of
tax Molsons Bank was held recently In
Multtreal, and the financial report was
of tee usual satlsfac:ory ciiaracter. The
taet profits for the year were $493,497,
•ttuic•it with $15:1,094 brought forward
front last year, made the total at the
credit of profit end loss $1147,104. Out

at the rate of ten per cent per annum,

The Executive committee for the
Xmas. entertainment in connection
with the Evangelical church were ap-
pointed on Sunday last at the close of
the school, consisting of the following:
Geo. Kellerman, E. M. Brokenshire,
Gen. Edighoffer, J. K. Goetz and Adam
Birk. The committee have considered
Xmas. night 'the most favorable to
hold the entertainment and thus it
will be. No doubt this will be one of
the hest ever given here as the pro-
gram excel anything of the kind ever
given here. -Several from this place
attended the Temperance meeting in
the 14th con. church on Thursday
night. --Mr. Charles Stier has engaged
so learn the blacksmith business with
Mr. Philip Fassold.-Mr, and Mrs.
Fred Gossman and son Bernhard re-
turned home from a six weeks' visit
with friends in Michigan, Monday. -
Miss Bertha Genttner of Sarnia is at
her home here fnr a few weeks' vaca-
