The Harvest Thanksgiving services of
the Trivltt ?femorlal Church will be
held this year on Sunday, Sept. 5th.
Rev. E. W. Hughes of Ttllsonburg will
have charge of the services. Mr. Hugh-
es is considered one of the most able
and eloquent preachers in the church
and every preparation is being made to
make the services particularly bright

On \Vedec.aday afternoon the County
Council of Huron met in Clinton to deal
with the question of endorsing the de-
hcnturea of the town of Clinton with the
waterworks. Atter much discussion a
motion was brought in by Reeve Gib -
binge and Milne that the Council guar-
antee the Waterworks debenture, but the
motion lost only ten members voting 'for
It.
