 The Kirkton Fair I
. gam.
Notwithstanding the cold weather
Notwithstandin the cold weather
Friday the kirkton Fair was largely
attended and in every way was fully
equal to if not better than previous
years. The exhibits in all the classes
were numerous and of excellent qual-
ity while the special attractions were
good. A most interesting feature was
the hitching and driving contest be-
tween Mies Clara Stewart and Miss
Hilda Thiel, and the way those two
ladies put on that harness and drove
around the track was astonishing and
greatly delighted those present. Miss
Stewart won by a small margin. The
concert given in the eveninv at which
the Imperial Male Quartette rendered
several selections was largely attended
and appreciated. The list of prize
