-A subscriber to a phone system
was kicking about his batteries not
lasting as long as his neighbors. It
was a notorious fact that bis famiiy
were "listeners," This uses your
batteries up just as much as if you
were using the line. Why is it that
people are so curious that they want to
know their neighbor's business and run
the risk of prosecution for "listening."
--The importance of producing large-
ly and at low cost, is not likely to be
overlooked on the farm. But, after
all, the question of success or failure on
the farm turns on the selling end The
Weekly Sun in its market reports and
in its suggestions as to co-operation in
selling has very greatly helped pro
gressive farmers ,n this important
particular. Its editorials are always
instructive and are never tuned to suit
the "Interests." The Sun will make
a very useful and most acceptable
Christmas present.
