ed from the millinery openings in Tor-

Mr. John Trott returned to bis home
in Beautsvillo after a two weeks' visit
with relatives here.
Mr. T. E. Handford left Monday for
Winnipeg to look over the situation in
the horse business.
Mrs. Wm. Davis and Mrs.. Laing, of
Hamilton, are the guests of the for-
mer's mother. Mrs. Pratt Fisher.
Miss Ruby Davidson of London vis-
ited friends in Exeter the past few
days and returned bottle Tuesday.
Miss Mary Harney, who has heen
visiting her grandfather, J. Kerslake,
returned to her home on Thursday
last.

church after a visit with Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Mattice, of Brussels, and
James Lawrence turned fifty horse
shoes in one hour. They challenge

Roller Rink Tuesday night, when the

McPherson's.—The new Woman's In-
stitute which was organized here this
winter intend holding their first meet-
ing in Wilson's Hall on the evening of
March 10th. A program, consisting of
solos, speeches and recitotions, is be-
ing prepared. W. J. Wilson will give
a talk on " Gardening." The ladies
and gentleman of the community are
cordially invited to attend. Any one
wishing to join please hand in their
names to the secretary, Miss M. %Vick-
ert.
