CHURCH NOTES.
Rev. Dr. Albert Carman, who for
over thirty years ha $ been general sup-
erintendent, of the NI ethodist Church in
Canada, practically retired from active
office when the quadrennial conference
closed in Ottawa last week.
The 49th annual Provincial Sabbath
School Convention will be of special
interest to pastors and S. S. Superin-
tendents. It will be held in London on
Oct. 27-30.
Rev. E. G. Dymond and Charles
Smith, M. A., of Fergus,' exchanged
pulpits for Harvest Home services on
Sunday last.
There will be a celebration of the
Holy Communion after Morning Prayer
in the Church of St. Paul the Apostle
on Sunday.
Next Sunday the Thanksgiving music
will be repeated in St. Paul's Church.
Thanksgiving services will be held in
the Methodist Church next Sunday
when Rev. P. N. Caven, of Toronto,
will preach both morning and evening.
The evening service will take the form
of a Twilight Service of Praise, special
music will be rendered by the choir.
