Gord Britton, past MC of Grand Bend's event, says, "Amaz- ing how time so quickly goes by. We are very excited about our tenth cel- ebration. It has been fun and uplift- ing to be part of a lovely, unifying event here in Grand Bend." The Grand Bend event has seen participation from many faith groups over the decade. The audi- ence has enjoyed uplifting writings intermixed with music and dance from a variety of local, regional and international performers. World Religion Day was begun in 1950 and is now held all over the world. Its aim is to promote under- standing and dialogue between the followers of all religions, or no reli- gion, and to emphasize the idea that we are one humanity.
