A concerned citizen reported to police they had observed a suspected impaired driver leaving northbound from Grand Bend on Bluewater Veterans Highway. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle on Mary Street in Zurich. Officers spoke with the driver and detected he had been drinking alco- hol. A roadside test was adminis- tered and the driver registered a Fail. He was arrested and trans- ported to the Fluron OPP Detach- ment for Breath Tests. He provided two samples of his breath; Both were over the legal limit. As a result, the man has been charged with (.)rive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. Ile has a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice - Exeter on November 28,. He received an automatic 90 day driv- er's licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
