senting its next concert event on
November 23 when it brings Missis-
sippi Beat to Me Gables, (rand Bend.
Fronted by harmonica virtuoso Pierre
Lacocque and the powerful soul blues
vocals of Inetta Visor, Mississippi Heat
is one of the most successful bands to
come out of Chicago in years.
Pierre Lacocque founded the band
in 1991. Mississippi 1leat has since
become one of Chicago's top touring
bands, is very popular in both the (1S
and Europe, and this year in Canada
has played Ottawa, Quebec City,
Salmon Arm BC, Calgary and Edmon-
ton, to be followed by Grand Bend in
