Lakeshore Advance, 2013-08-21, Page 20Thanks a million Lakeshore Advance 'lhe Rotary Club of Grand Bend says a big thank you to the community for all its support in helping the Club achieve $1,000,000 in donations. Since it was formed in 1991, the Club has raised $1,041,239 for a wide range of good causes both at home and in the world. Among them are the Rotary trail, the beachfront enhancements, the Clean Water Now initiative, the Grand Bend Community Health Centre, the Grand Bend Public School, Goderich tornado r lief, global literacy, and the eradication 1,olio. Most of these funds have been raised through Autumn indulgence, the Rotary Club's gala charitable fundraiser held each fall at the Huron Country Play- house. This year Autumn Indulgence will take place on Saturday, Sweniber 28 starting at 5:00 pm. 'Ire evening includes a gourmet steak and lobster dinner, a live and silent auction, and live entertain- ment. Tickets are $90 each and can be purchased online at www.autumnindul- gence.com.
