PUBLIC MEETING
Regarding Building By-law No. 3V-2013
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Bluewater will hold a public mccting on the
27th day of August, 2013, at 7:(1) p.m., in the Council chambers
(38594B Mill Road, Varna) in order to consider an amendment
to a Building Permit By-law under Section 7 of the Building
Code Act.
PURPOSE ANI) EFFECT -The Municipality of Blucwatcr is
proposing to amend a Building Permit By-law following a
review of the building pcnnit fees under Section 7(h) of the
Building (.'ode Act. The effect will he to modify building permit
application tees for wind turbines. Additional information will
be made available at no cost to any member of the public upon
request and is also available on the municipal website at

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make
written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposi-
tion to the proposed fees.

A beachfront festival with an environmental theme In Grand Bend
Is the continued theme for this annual event. With an exciting start,
Juno award nominated singer Emm Gryner and eco amazing Water
Brothers Alex and Tyler Mifflin got the crowds in the mood for free
activities throughout Lambton Shores. Winners of the photo contest
were first Lynn Wilbur -'Enjoying the view', second Dave Sheppard -
'Silhouettes in Lake Huron Sunrise, third Telfer Wegg-'Steel Town' and
honourable mentions for Peter Kelly and Bonnie Sitter, There were
lots of free activities for the children. Here Hudson Balley,15 months
does some painting with his dad Ace and Taylor Klyne gets painted
up pretty. Sara Rutledge isn't quite sure how she likes the chowder
at the competition Sunday. Many local school kids created their own
masterpieces for the Aquafest art show. Boat designer and bulkier
Skip Izon shows Deb Gilpin one of this 'Shadow River 'creations. Many
eco friendly vendors set up shop at the Aquafest beach tent.
