I)ue to the generous financial support that
the Lambton Creative County Committee
offered the band, they were able to get the
record mastered by Noah Mintz, an interna-
tionally renowned engineer who has worked
with an impressive roster of artists that
includes The National and Broken Social
Scene.
Since the release of Bonfires Etiquette, the
record has received praise from a number of
media outlets, including radio broadcaster
Alan Cross, who said "l've never heard ()limy

Local rock band Amity Beach are one of the
recent beneficiaries of the Lambton Creative
County Committee grant program. Their
debut 1.1; Bonfire Etiquette, released July 25th
on Eternal Bummer Records, was paid for in

Moore on bass, and Jordan 1 Jansen on drums.
The members are long term residents of
Grand Bend, excluding Pfaff and iiansen,
who currently live in Dashwood and Exeter,
respectively. •
Since forming in their
early teens, the band has
seen a huge amount of
support from the local
community. They have
been given the opportu-
nity to pay on the Grand
Bend beach during Can-
ada Day celebrations for
the past three years.
They have also held a
number of concerts at
the Grand Bend Legion,
playing alongside local
acts and accumulating

hers from their sup-
portive community.
1n late 2011, the hand
began writing and recording their full length
debut, Bonfire Etiquette. Over the following
two years, the hand recorded the album in
lut•an with producer Matt Weston, a long
time collaborator and supporter of the hand.
Once the recording process wits completed,
the next step towards the album's completion
was to get the record mastered. A very expen-
sive process; mustering is when a skilled
