Signs of the time
Standing tall for less than a week,
the new historical plaques In Grand
Bend have attracted a lot of attention.
The historical committee with the
help of the Municipality of Lambton
Shores (represented by mayor Bill
Weber), The Grand Bend Community
Foundation (represented by chair Tom
Prout) and the Grand Bend Rotary Club
(represented by president Bruce Shaw)
and Steward Webb and Sons Ltd.,the
new additions to the beach community,
commemorating the rich history are a
huge success. The committee is made
up of Paul Miller, Cam and Dinah Taylor,
Jim and Jacquie Southcott, Ed Fluter,
Lynda HIIIman-Rapley, Gord McKay.
