Lakeshore Advance Lake Smith & Pinery Friends feed hungry visitors FULL CAMPGROUND was the posted message at the main gate of Pinery Provincial Park for the Canada Day weekend. Despite a very rainy Friday and intermittent rain on Sunday, all one thousand camping sites were filled with eager visitors wanting to enjoy the first long weekend of the summer. Part of the park experience is the consumption of delicious Alaskan Pollock and tasty French fries provided by the Lake Smith Conservationists and Friends of Pinery Park. Proceeds from this and the next three fish fries scheduled for the next two months will be used for children's programming in the park and at local elementary schools in the tri -county area. Turning out large quantities of fish and chips for the hungry visitors to the park are (L -R) George Robertson, Shane Burley, Peter Zylberstein, Rick Thomas and Mark Wilds of the LSC.
