It has been more than 35 years plus that the Pickering family has made their way to
the Bluewater Motel for Canada Day. Two of the members celebrated 80th birthdays
this year. No matter where these people live, they make a point of getting together
for their Canada Day festivities. Owner Laura Boogemans says Bluewater Motel will
celebrate 65 years next season- and that is 65 years in the same family.
