Ross G. Hayter, president of the Lake Smith Conservationists,
presented on the club's behalf 22 Screech Owl boxes and
$1000 to Lynn Eves In recognition of her dedication to raptor
rehabilitation. For over two decades Lynn has taken In sick,
wounded or orphaned birds and nursed them back to health
in her clinic and outdoor cages constructed on her property.
Her Egremont Road property is well known throughout the
tri -county area as a local refuge for birds in need of long -
tem convalescence. Lynn relies on private donations, the
good will of local veterinarians, as well as her own finances
to continue this labour of love. Shown here are (L - R) Lynn
Eves, Peter Zylbersteln and Ross G. Hayter with some of
the Screech Owl boxes. Contact Lynn (519-486-2443) if you
would like to erect one of these boxes on your property
