Vintage car stolen in Huron County
OPP
Story:lluron County Ontario Provincial Police
(OPP) officers are investigating an overnight theft
of a vintage sports car. The 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro car was stolen from the backyard of a
Maple Street residence sometime between 11:00
p.m. on May 13, 2013 and 7:00 a.m. on May 14,
2013.
The restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a rep-
lica COPO valued at an estimated $71,000. The
colour of the Camaro is azure turquoise. A his-
toric Ontario Licence plate was attached to the
vehicle.
Any person with information regarding this
incident should immediately contact the Huron
OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-8314.
Should you wish to remain anonymous, you
may call Crime Stoppers at 1 -800 -222 -IPS (8477),
where you may be eligible to receive a cash
reward of up to $2,000.
IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED
(LAMBTON, ON) A driver was arrested by
Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for
Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle on May 11,
just after 4:00 a.m. The driver of a Honda motor
vehicle had been seen traveling at a fast rate of
speed on Lakeshore Road, Oil Heritage Road,
west bound 402, and London Line.
A cell phone call to the OPP about the driver
resulted in a subsequent traffic stop by the OPP
and ended with an arrest and charges.
A 23 year old man from Sarnia, ON has a Sar-
nia court date of May 27 to answer to the allega-
tions of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
and Drive over the Legal Limit.
uQUOR INVESTIGATION REVEALS COCAIN,
METHAMPHETAMINES
(GRAND BEND, ON) An 18 year old London
man has a court date in Sarnia after he was found
in possession of cocaine, methamphetamines,
marihuana and other drags.
Mutt started out as a liquor investigation for a
Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer
soon evolved into something more.
The elan was arrested on May 11th in the early
afternoon and will appear in a Sarnia court June
24, 2013 to answer to the allegations of:
• Possession of Conine
• Possession of Methamphetamine
IN Possession of Marihuana
• Possession of Other Drugs
There is no further information about the Other
Drugs.
OVER 80 MILLIGRAMS
A 37 year old male has been arrested and
charged for Drive Motor Vehicle - Over 80 follow-
ing a complaint of a possible impaired driver. A
concerned citizen reported the driver was travel-
ling northbound on Bluewater Veterans 1 lighway
from Bayfield. Just before 1:00 a.m. a Iluron
County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer
located the suspect vehicle, a green GMC pickup
on Albert Street in Goderich. Upon speaking with
the driver the officer noted the driver had been
drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed

device. Officers arrested the driver and
transported hint for breath tests. 1 le pro-
vided two breath samples; both were
above the legal limit.
A 37 year old man from Goderich has
been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle -
Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. Ile has a
court date scheduled for the Ontario
Court of Justice - Goderich on June 24th
Ile received an automatic 90 day driver's
licence suspension.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED
DRIVING CHARGE
(BLUEWATER, ON) - An erratic driver
caught the attention of two concerned
motorists late Saturday (light. The con-
cerned witnesses called police and
reported a possible impaired driver was
travelling southbound 00 London Road
(i lighway 4) near Brucefield. Just before
11:(X) p.in. a 1 luron County Ontario Pro-
vincial Police (OPP) officer was able to
locate and stop the driver of a Buick Cen-
tury on London Road near I Iarvest Road.
The officer determined the male driver
was impaired by alcohol and arrested the
driver. He was transported to the
Sebringville OPP Detachment for breath
tests; both tests %vete above the legal limit.

charged %vith Impaired Driving and Drive
Motor Vehicle - Over Ito Milligrams of
Alcohol. 11e has a court date scheduled
for the Ontario Court of Justice - Exeter on
June 27, 2013. Ile received an automatic

motor vehicle has been impounded for
seven (lays.

volunteers are trained to observe, record
