Lakeshore Advance Enjoy the view Members of the Lambton Shores Nature Trail committee set up this bench . They are encouraging people to hike the trails In the Conservation Area on the Ausable Cut Just off Hwy #21 In Northville and enjoy the view. A second bench will be Installed soon on the top of the high dune for an even more spectacular view. Recognition plaques for donors have been ordered and will be Installed on both benches In the near future. Lynda Hillman -Ripley Lakeshore Advance Walking tour gets municipal support Jim Southcott gave a shout out to Lambton Shores at the mayor's breakfast last week with thanks for a cheque in the amount of $2000.00 (grant) from the Municipality of Lambton Shore in support of the Grand Bond Historical Walking Tour project. This project began in 2012 with the creation of a walking tour brochure so locals and visitors, could stop back into Grand Bend's history and learn lots of information on the this community's beginnings. Tho plans aro now going forward to erect signs at significant landmarks.
