"Tarzan of the Apes" is given in,this
issue of the TIMES and the story has
been one of the most interesting we
have ever published. We have secured

by land and sea. Whoever read "Tar-

persue this story. Look for the open-

Presbytery of Maitland.
The Presbytery of Maitland met in the
Methodist Church, Kincardine, on Tues-
day, May 19th, as the Presbyterial of
the Women's Missionary Society was
meeting in Knox Church. The statis-
tical report for the past year was rend-
ered by the clerk of the presbytery.
It showed a decrease of 12 families on
the previous year, a removal of 471
members from within the bounds, an
increase of 47 on the previous year, and
the total church membership of the
presbytery 14 less than at the close of
1912. Though there is a decrease in
membership there is a marked increase
in contributions to the schemes of the
church and to benevolences and to pas-
tors' salaries. The total gifts of the
presbytery to all purposes were $635.18.
The presbytery formed an historical so-
ciety, with Revs. D. Perrie, C. M.
Rutherford and W. A. Bradley co
officers. The purpose of the society is
to collect the history of the various
congregations within the bounds and
short biographies of the pastors and
leading men who had to do with the
forming of the congregations in the
earlier days.
