In an amazing partnership Involving St. John's -by -the -Lake, Grand Bend whose parishioners donated The funds, Dave Maguire of Hayter's Turkey Farms who supplied the birds generously discounting them, the Executive Chef at the London Convention Centre who cooked the birds and The Daily Bread Program at the Fellowship Centre at St. Paul's Cathedral who served a full Christmas m dinner with all the trimmings on Thursday, the 15th providing a feast to those less fortunate In the downtown London area. The Fellowship Centre serves over 3,000 meals Monday -Friday each week making it the busiest 'restaurant' in London. It Is completely staffed by dedicated volunteers and the clients pay nothing for their meals. Donaldson says the Spirit of Christmas is truly alive and well in these wonderful partnerships that reflect the real meaning of the season.
