Lakeshore Advance
Ausable Bayfield Conser-

to host Owl Prowl again on
two different evenings in
2012
Ausable Bayfield Conser-
vation Authority's annual
Owl Prowl became such a
success that organizers
added an extra evening this
year and both nights drew
crowds, according to
organizers.
"There were 125 people
who took part on the Friday
night and another 130 peo-
ple attended on the Satur-
day night," said Julie Stel-
Ilingwerff, ABCA
Conservation Education
Specialist. "The group on
Saturday had the luck and
pleasure of hearing and
seeing at least two Eastern
Screech Owls and hearing
others in the distance."
Ausable Bayfield Conser-
vation announced plans,
for 2012, to once again give
nature lovers two opportu-
nities to prowl for owls. The
event is being planned for
Friday, November 2, 2012
and Saturday, November 3,
2012. "Thanks to all who
came out and donated to
this event," said Stellingw-
erff. "Mark your calendars
for next year's event - you
will be able to attend on the
first Friday or Saturday of
November next year,"
The event was held at
Morrison Dam Conserva-
tion Area, just east of Exe-
ter. Participants learned
