Gener.11 Help Wanted (loner al Hein Wanted l,eneral Help Wanted General hell/ Wanted Developmental Service Ontario — South West Region is currently recruiting one highly motivated professional with a demonstrated commitment to the transformation of adult developmental services in Ontario. 1 (One) ASSESSOR/SERVICE NAVIGATOR Bruce, Grey, Huron, Perth The Ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: • Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent, in a discipline related to human services (such as social work, psychology or sociology) 4 • A minimum of 5 years experience working directly in the field of developmental services • Experience working in intake, service navigation and administering assessments • The ability (with training) to achieve and maintain Supports Intensity Scale© assessor certification and inter -rater reliability as required by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and/or the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) • An understanding of and commitment to the Ministry of Community and Social Services' transformation of developmental services in Ontario • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families and service providers • Proven facilitation skills • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to work in an environment of change • Knowledge of and ability to access community resources • Proven ability to work both Independently and collaboratively as a member of multidiscipline teams • Ability to interpret legislation, government policy and guidelines • Proven computer skills including the ability to maintain electronic records in a database • A valid Ontario Driver's License, access to a reliable vehicle and the willingness to travel and work flexible hours This position will be deployed in the communities listed above. R. 2 Zurich, passed away In her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Bedard (Sept 18, 2011). Loving mother of Kim and Mike Foster of Stratford, Kris and Linda of London and Kerry and Kelly of Wyoming. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren.
