Fund- ing decisions are based on local needs and priorities, in connection with the annual budget, strategic goals and objectives. Grand funds are intended to support project -based initiatives in the areas of Community Service, Arts, Culture, Tourism, Economic Development, Social Services and Environment. Applicants interested in submitting a request for the 2012 calendar year are requested to complete the application form and submit it to the Clerk by November 14, 2011. Don Giberson Environ- mental Services Director for the Municipality of South Huron presented the break down to the committee. The tri -municipal hoard is made up of members from Lamb - ton Shores, South 1luron and Bluewater . 'Their mandate centres around the sewage treatment facility to replace the present thirty year old lagoon system on Mollard Line. 'fenders were opened at the Lambton Shores office on October 7th. When Phase 2 Works are added to the Phase 1 Works; this rep- resents the "Full Build Out Plant". Giberson said to note the amounts on the tender results and Dillon's ten- der analysis include con- struction costs, a contin- gency amount and a cash allowance; but do not include the engineering costs (ie. design and project management costs) or the unrecoverable 11S'l'. 1 did :► preliminary analysis using Dillon's project cost esti- mates dated March 31, 2011. The project costs as ten- dered, including engineer- ing and unrecoverable 11S'I' for both options (phased and full build out) compare very favorably with the Dillon estimates.
