Stephen Lewis coming to Grand Bend tbls Friday

Stephen Lewis in Grand Bend at the
Iluron Country Playhouse on Friday,
June 24.
Stephen Lewis is a celebrated thinker,
humanitarian, and orator. Ile inspires
and enlightens audiences all around
the globe. "Mr, Lewis is spell -binding,"
says Rotarian Paul Clufo, who will act as
moderator of the event. "Ile uses his
eloquence and passion to stake us
really think about the world and how
we can make it a better place. I'm very
excited about the evening"
After a political career, Mr. Lewis
served as Canada's Ambassador to the
United Nations, the Deputy Executive
Director of UNICEF, and a member of
the Panel to investigate the genocide in
Rwanda. In 2001 he was named t1N's
Special Envoy for IIIV/AIDS in Africa.
1 le has received world-wide acclaim for
his efforts to combat Alt)S, and is (:hair
of the Board of the Stephen Lewis
Foundation.
Mr. Lewis has been named by Time
Magazine as one of the most of the 100
Most influential People in the World.
Ile is a Companion of the Order of Can-
ada, and holds 32 honorary degrees
from Canadian Universities. Ile is also
the author of the hest -selling hook, )lace
against Time.
