Shelton made his debut with the hit
single "Austin" which went on to
spend five weeks at number one on
the Billboard Hot Country Song
charts. Overall, Shelton has charted
17 singles on the country charts,
t '4)including eight number one hits. The
Ada, Oklahoma entertainer will look
to bring fans to their feet as the final
act of the day.
Country music group Lonestar
made its debut on the Billboard
country music charts in 1995 with
their top 10 single "Tequila Thlkin",
Since then, the band has amassed a
total of 27 singles on the country
charts, with 10 of those reaching
number one. The band has major hits
with their songs "Amazed", "I'm
Already There" and "My Front Porch
booking
In 1999, Lonestar achieved crosso-
ver success when their hit single,
"Amazed", reached number one on
both the country charts and the Bill-
board Hot 100.
Canadian singer -songwriter Jason
McCoy will also be performing at this
year's event. With five -studio albums
under his belt, one greatest hits col-
lection and country chart topping
songs like "Born Again in Dixieland"
and "This Used to be Our Tbwn", the
Lucknow Kinsmen say he's sure to
ignite the crowd.
Rounding out the line-up is
CCMA's 2010 Female Artist of the
Year Victoria Banks and country
groups Dry County, River Junction
Band and Snakebite.

are confident that this year's Music in
the Fields will be even better"
Andrew also said they couldn't do
this event without the community
and its iocal service groups. He said
it's a total team effort.
"Everyone has a specific role to
play in the Kinsmen and at the same
time we network quite closely with
the other service dubs in the area, so
it's a whole community event," said
Andrew. "We couldn't do it if the
other service groups weren't
involved.
Huron -Bruce NIP Ben Lobb was
also on -hand to give his well wishes
to the evert and Kinsmen.

support everything the Kinsmen are
doing to make it a great concert."

lor Carl Sloetjes and fellow Kinsmen
gave some warn words to the organ-
izers of the Music in the Fields on
behalf of Mayor Mitch llvolan.
"Thanks for making the Huron -
Kinloss area a great place for people
to enjoy a great concert," said
Sloetjes.
Music in the Fields is an annual
event with profits from the festival
going to various charitable and local
organizations in the community. The
Kinsmen's official charity, Canadian
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will also
be a receiving a portion of the profits.
Tickets for Music in the fields are
on sale now and can be purchased
online through www.ticketscene.
ca. Early bird ticket prices are
$69.95 and after August 13 the price will
increase to $79.95. Children under nine
