My Puzzle, My Pieces is a fun and challenging program that uses the- atre games, painting, sketching, and physical movement as a free -wheeling introduction to self-expression. Over the course of five days, students will build confidence as they develop and explore their own identities. Each day the students will focus on different aspects of their lives and how interaction with others helps define themselves and the world around them. Each person has many different interests and passions that make them an individual (pieces of their own puzzle) and it takes many people to make up a community (pieces of a larger puzzle). Over this week students will learn, through visual and performing arts, to celebrate their own individuality and how it is our differ- ences that help to create a productive community. My Puzzle, My Pieces is led by local theatre professional Lisa liood and visual artist Laurie Whitson. The program offers something for boys and girls who simply want to enjoy the freedom of expression through theatre, visual art, and movement. My Puzzle, My Pieces runs March 14-18 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the former Library located in the north wing of Blyth Memorial Hall, 431 Queen Street in Blyth. Registration is $100 per student for the entire week. For more information or to register please contact the Blyth Festival Box Office at 519-523- 9300/1-877-862-8594 or info@blythfestival. com. The Blyth Festival's 2011 season is gener- ously sponsored by Sparling's Propane Com- pany Limited and CIA/.
