The Colonial staff served a delicious chicken crepe dish that was appreciated by everyone. The complex topic of relationships was the focus of the Guild guest speaker, Mickey Gurbin. Mickey is a medical social worker with Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre. In an often humorous manner, Mickey discussed the characteristics and parameters of relationships. Her pres- entation evoked laughter as well as thoughtful reflection. She suggested that the key to forging dynamic and supportive relationships is knowledge and commitment. All members enjoyed the discussion and camaraderie. further enhancing relationships in our own group! The business meeting that followed emphasized new fundraising efforts that will be launched this year. Look for flyers soon to be posted in our area. advertising activities.
