Supporting those who have been silenced
Zurich Public school took part In an annual event promoted across Canada by Mark
and Craig Keilburger. They are told that today millions of young people are denied their
right to an education, health care, security and their inherent right to lite. But In the
face of war, poverty, disease or exploitation, they cannot freely speak out against the
Injustices they are forced to endure. They are silenced. Zurich Public School students
are Joining more than 100,000 young participants who will not speak for 24 hours,
demonstrating to the works that we cannot ignore the voices of the silenced. Shown
here Alex Miklovic and Laura Trembulak and Natalie Miller and Aerin Martin relate their
message.
