Keeping track at North
Lambton Secondary
school
The track at North Lambton Secondary
School received some much needed
renovations over the summer. A
new clay surface has been added to
the track, the soccer field has been
re -seeded and new goal posts have
been installed, The track Is now ready
to be used by walkers and runners.
The fence will remain in place over
the winter to discourage snowmobilers
and ATVers from crossing the newly seeded surface. Shown In the
picture is the Grade 11 Phys. Ed. class at NLSS, the first class to run
a lap on the new surface.
OFSAA Cross Country Competitors
North Lambton Secondary School was represented at the Ontario
Cross Country Championships In Ottawa on Saturday, November
5th. Emily Williams placed 24th out of 232 competitors in the junior
division, putting her in the top 9% in the province. Gina McNally
placed 88th out of 234 competitors in the Midget Girls Division, At the
SWOSSAA championships held In Sarnia, Gina placed 5th In Midget
girls and Emily was 7th in Junior Girls. Picture shows the girls (Emily
