has always had artists who enjoy
coning together to share their pas-
sion for painting. In the mid 1970s
what was known as the Grand Bend
Art Club came together in a vacant
storefront. 'There they practiced
their craft, held art shows, outdoor
markets and even fundraisers. Puck
Merkies and others were inst ru -
mental in getting the club started
and today, more than three decades
later, the club continues to flourish.
'They original group moved to the
Town Hall on Main Street (the cur-
rent police station). The club then
moved to the former public library
on Crescent Street (now Baillie's

This three-bedroom bungalow, with all the Imng space on one floor. will find tts ideal occupants in empty nesters and families with young

The covered entry, with a tail window at one side, is tucked between the two wings of the home, and leads into a roomy toyer. To the left
is the third bedroom, which can double as a den, playroom or home office. Directly ahead, through an archway, are the open-plan great
room, dining area and kitchen
The great room features a gas fireplace flanked by built-in entertainment units. The adjacent dining area, located in rts own bayed -out
